RUSMPS001 - Preparing for Success in Precalculus (Rice University School Mathematics Project)

For students who will have completed Geometry & Algebra II before the program and will be taking Precalculus in the fall of 2026.

Rice University invites motivated high school students to strengthen their mathematics foundations and prepare for success in upcoming coursework this summer. Led by experienced Rice faculty and master teachers, these programs blend active learning with authentic, real-world problem solving. Students will build skills essential for advanced mathematics and future college success with a focus on conceptual understanding, mathematical communication, proof and justification, and responsible and effective use of AI for reinforced learning.

All families must do the following to complete registration:

1. Create a Family Account and add a child as a member of the family group.
2. In the Cart, add member/child to the course.
3. Submit a completed application for the child.
4. Enroll and pay.
