It's a Novel Idea...Little Lessons with Big Bang!

Just to get our students to read required novels is a middle school English teacher's duty, but to actually engage students to think beyond vocabulary studies and comprehension questions, to ponder their own lives through creative writing, is an English teacher's dream. Join us for a session of novel studies with some twists that will reinforce close reading, analysis and argument writing, and creative expression. Many of the lessons presented can be adapted to any novel study in a middle school curriculum.
