The Rice University Advanced Paralegal Certificate series is designed for those who have completed any Paralegal Program and obtained a Paralegal Certificate or Paralegal Degree.   It provides an opportunity to deepen your knowledge with online, go-at-your-own-pace classes that concentrate on specific facets of contemporary law to give you a competitive edge to increase your salary and marketability.

Individuals without a Paralegal Certificate, but who possess the equivalent knowledge and skills must have a minimum of 5 years working in a law firm or relevant legal divisions of a corporation, such as a real estate firm or an oil and gas company.  (The university retains the right to deny admission if it deems the applicant's experience is not sufficient.)

Rice wants to give you the power of choice to determine the direction of your legal career with  numerous areas of study. The choice is, literally, yours!"
