The critique-style writing workshop is a long-standing literary tradition, but many beginning writers struggle to find opportunities to share their work with peers. This workshop provides an opportunity for new and intermediate writers to have a piece of their writing critiqued by author Cassandra Rose Clarke, to receive feedback from classmates and to offer critiques on fellow workshop participants’ writing. Participants will develop a deeper understanding of their own work and the writing craft. Participants who come to the course with completed work will be invited to share in the early weeks of the course; students who would like to draft a piece during the course will be invited to share in the later weeks.
