CCRCOPAP2 - AP Teacher Community of Practice_Track 2
The AP Community of Practice at Rice University is designed for experienced AP teachers (2 or more years) who will be teaching a new AP subject and are interested in participating in a year-long COP to position themselves and their students for success. Participants we will explore advanced features of AP classroom as well as areas specific to their new AP subject. In addition, we’ll cover pacing, unit quizzes, free response questions, and other best practices for AP teachers, building and expanding on the experience of participants. Finally, participants will have access to 10 hours of office hours with the facilitator in the fall and spring.

- Fall In-Person at Rice University, Saturday, September 19, 2026 (8:30am - 12:30pm)
- Fall In-Person at Rice University, Saturday, November 7, 2026 (9:00am - 12:00pm)
- Spring In-Person at Rice University, Saturday, February 27, 2027 (9:00am - 12:00pm)

Deadline: September 11, 2026
Cost: $250 total. Includes parking voucher & breakfast
Note: Full cost is $500 but Rice’s Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies is subsidizing cost ($250 per student). The COP is limited (25), so please do not delay in registering.
Credits:
- A COP Certification of Completion will be earned, and 10 CPE hours will be granted for attendance of all classes.
