CCRCOPNEW - AP Teacher Community of Practice_Track 1
The AP Community of Practice at Rice University is designed for new AP teachers (less than 2 years experience) who are interested in participating in a year-long COP to position themselves and their students for success. Participants will distill the essentials of AP classroom, learning how to best tap and use this powerful resource. We’ll pull out areas that are crucial for a new teacher to have an immediate impact in their classroom. We’ll cover pacing, unit quizzes, free response questions, and other best practices for AP teachers. Finally, participants will have access to 10 hours of office hours with the facilitator in the fall and spring.
