SLECEDLS - Early Childhood Leadership Summit
Join Rice University’s School Literacy and Culture for our first annual Early Childhood Leadership Summit. Instructional leaders, campus leaders, and district leaders are invited to attend this full day conference on the Rice University campus, where leaders will explore cutting-edge research about the importance of high-quality early learning experiences and life outcomes, and engage in practical breakout sessions to discover what these high-quality learning experiences look like in classroom practice. The Summit’s keynote will be provided by Dr. Erin Baumgartner, Director of the Kinder Institute’s Houston Education Research Consortium (HERC). Additional presentations will be given by SLC staff and the Summit will conclude with a panel discussion comprised of early childhood leaders.
