CRIBODPLANGB - IB Language B (generic) - DP - Category 1 & 2
The IB workshops at Rice are designed for new and experienced IB teachers at the PYP, MYP, DP and CP levels who are interested in learning about the IB program and strategies and techniques for effectively teaching IB curriculum. Workshops are led by experienced IB workshop leaders who have a strong background in teaching and an interest in developing the IB teacher community through rigorous professional development.

Thursday, February 12, 2026, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Friday, February 13, 2026, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Saturday, February 14, 2026, 8:30 am – 11:30 am
Thursday: 6 hours of synchronous learning to be held between 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Central Time (CT)
Friday: 6 hours of synchronous learning to be held between 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Central Time (CT)
Saturday: 3 hours of synchronous learning to be held between 8:30 am – 11:30 am CT
There will be 15 hours of synchronous learning during this workshop.
Early registration: $975 (by November 14, 2025)
Standard registration: $1025 (November 15, 2025-January 28, 2026)
Late registration: $1075 (after January 28, 2026)
Payment information
In lieu of a purchase order, you may complete your registration using the “register now and pay by check later” option. Your seat will be held for up to 30 days. Payment by (check, eCheck, ACH, or credit card) is due within 30 days of registration. Failure to submit a timely payment may result in the cancellation of your registration.
You may also complete your registration using a credit card. Registrations via credit card are confirmed immediately upon processing.
The Center for College Readiness does not provide training unless payment by (check, eCheck, ACH, or credit card) is received in advance. If you need to discuss other payment options or request additional time to submit payment, please send us a request via email to collegeready@rice.edu.
Credit card payments - If you chose to pay by check when you previously registered and are now trying to complete payment via credit card but do not have an invoice/basket number, please send an email to collegeready@rice.edu along with the participant's name and confirmation number. Wire transfers - Please send an email to collegeready@rice.edu to receive wire instructions. All wire transfers will incur an additional charge of $25.00 per transaction in addition to the cost of registration to cover the fees incurred by the university.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refund Policy: We are unable to process cancellations over the phone. Please send your request via email to collegeready@rice.edu. Refunds for course cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the workshop start date are subject to a processing fee of 10% of the registration cost. No refunds are provided for nonattendance or cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the workshop start date.
