PSFINCFA - Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) Level 1 Prep Course
This course was designed to prepare those who have signed up for or intend to take the CFA Level 1 exam. The content is provided by Wiley © and reviews the core concepts that will be a part of the exam, including financial statement analysis, portfolio management, equity investments, etc. Each topic covered will be taught by an expert in that space and a CFA charterholder. You will also receive access to practice questions, mock exams, 11th-hour review sessions, and opportunities to create study groups.
We offer a two-part payment plan that requires a 50% deposit at the time of registration and the remaining balance to be paid in full by the course start date. At checkout, select 'Pay deposit now and use scheduled payments in installment plan.

Upon successful completion of this course and with missing less than 5 hours of content, students will be awarded a Rice University Certificate of Achievement. The exam is administered by the Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA) Institute ©. Completing the Rice CFA Level 1 prep course does not guarantee success on the CFA Certification Examination. Individuals preparing for the exam should complete an extensive individual study schedule in addition to this course.

Due to the high demand for courses, registrations are considered final as of 10 working days before class starts. No refunds will be issued after these dates, and credits will not be given for future classes. No refunds will be granted for participants who miss a program portion. Refund requests before the deadline are subject to a 10% processing fee and must be made in writing to gscs@rice.edu. If books have been issued, the books' cost and shipping fees will be deducted. Refunds for credit card payments will be processed as credits to the accounts from which they were paid and may not appear as a credit until the following statement. Refunds for enrollments paid by check take up to four weeks to be processed and mailed by the Rice University accounting office. There is a $30 charge for any check returned for insufficient funds.
