Experience art like never before through a series of guided meditations led by Tibetan meditation expert Alejandro Chaoul, Ph.D., held among works from the Rice Public Art collection. See how rewarding an extended encounter with art can be and how much contemplative looking and meditation have in common. Practice the art of meditation, learning techniques that may help promote presence, awareness and connection. Develop foundational techniques for a meditative practice to help navigate stress and deepen your appreciation for the artfulness of everyday life. Weather permitting, we will visit one work in the Rice Public Art collection each week. Artworks are at or within a quarter-mile walk of the Glasscock School building.  Includes a special visit from a Moody Center for the Arts curator.
