Leadership In Action Certificate Program

Rice University, Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies

Please read the following instructions carefully. For your application to be considered, all documents, including letters of recommendation, must be received. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. 

Class attendance is mandatory - class meets Mondays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Applicants to the Leadership in Action program should meet one of the following descriptions:

• have at least 5 years' experience in the nonprofit sector and are currently in an executive leadership role. 
• have at least 3 years' experience in the nonprofit sector and expect an executive leadership role to be the next step in their career
• have been identified by their organization as the next executive director/CEO

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a Leadership in Action Certificate from the Rice University Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership.

The program Course is CPNPM1730 and the program Section is 008. Please take a moment to write these numbers down as you will need to enter them into the application.
